February 4: Strategies to Strengthen Your Health Inspection Rating
This session provides a foundational overview of the CMS 5-Star Quality Rating System, with a deep dive into the Health Inspection domain. Attendees will learn how the overall rating is calculated, how survey outcomes impact star performance, and how to leverage survey cycle data to guide improvement. Practical tips for managing survey readiness, identifying risk areas, and implementing targeted QAPI strategies will be emphasized.
February 11: Staffing for Success: The Road to a Stronger 5-Star Score
This session examines the Staffing domain of the 5-Star system. Attendees will learn the specifics of RN hours, total nursing hours, PBJ reporting, and factors that drive staffing star ratings. The session will cover data validation, common PBJ pitfalls, and operational strategies to stabilize staffing performance and improve accuracy of required submissions.
February 18: Quality Measures Decoded (Part 1) - Short-Stay Wins That Move the Needle
Part 1 of the Quality Measure series introduces the structure of the QM domain and reviews select short-stay measures. Attendees will learn calculation basics, data sources, exclusions, and key drivers of each measure. Strategies for root cause analysis and QAPI alignment will be highlighted to support improved outcomes and higher quality measure performance.
February 25: Quality Measures Decoded (Part 2) - Long-Stay Success Strategies

The session will highlight documentation, Section GG accuracy, and process improvements essential for meeting reporting thresholds.
March 11: Building Your Customized Work Plan for 5-Star Success
This capstone session brings together all elements of the 5-Star domains and guides attendees through building a customized facility improvement plan. Participants will learn how to analyze performance trends, set achievable goals, and apply QAPI principles to sustain improvement. Templates, checklists, and real-world examples will help guide their action planning.
